The W.M.U. meets quarterly. The women actively support Christian missions within our church, surrounding areas, and even far away locations by means of compassion-focused support, activities and outreach. Just a few of their many projects have included coat collections, food drives, and school supplies for a local elementary school every year.
August: School Supply Drive. The WMU is collecting school supplies during the month of August for donations to Nottoway Elementary. Supplies include composition books, pocket folders, pencils, crayons, glue sticks, scissors, children's underware (sz 3-12) and socks.
September: Yarn is being collected for the ladies at the Female Correctional Facility to make blankets for cancer patients.
