From music to children to hunger, Millfield believes in sharing its gifts with others. Scroll below to learn about the ministry efforts at Millfield.
Millfield is blessed with an active Children's Ministry and Youth Group. Each Sunday our children ages 3 through 5th grade participate in various programs during the worship hour.
Youth in grades 6 through 9 meet after church each second and fourth Sunday. Our youth are led by Aby Staples and Curt Newsome (left).
Bags of Hope
Each third Wednesday, Millfield partners with Ebenezer Baptist Church to distribute Bags of Hope. The food pantry receives food from area grocery stores and the Food Bank to help approximately 140 families each month.
Millfield is blessed with many talented singers and musicians who share their faith through music. The Millfield choir is directed by Sandy Vick.
Weekly choir rehearsal: Wednesdays at 7 p.m.
Soup for Seniors
The Soup for Seniors ministry delivers soup to area shut-ins from November through February. Southampton County Social Services provides our church with a list of those in the area who may benefit from the gift of homemade soup and a cheerful visit.
The Millfield WMU Eleanor Boothe Circle takes on several mission projects each year such as sending goodies to service members, honoring veterans, and providing "goody bags" to local farmers and our college students.
