Rev. Tom Guess to speak at Millfield Baptist Church

Please join us this Sunday, August 25th, as we welcome guest speaker Tom Guess into the pulpit. Tom works full time for the Department of Game and Inland Fisheries where he serves as the Legislative and Policy Director and has been there since 2008 after retiring from a 21 year career on active duty in the U.S. Coast Guard.

Tom is a member of Oakland Baptist Church, Disputanta VA where he serves as the Sunday School Director, substitute Sunday school teacher, as a member of the personnel committee, and as a member of the church council. He keeps a busy schedule serving the Lord as a supply pastor at various Baptist churches on Sundays and also as needed at Oakland Baptist.

Tom earned a BS in Criminal Justice and MS in Leadership, both from Southwestern College Winfield, KS. He earned his MA in Theological Studies with a focus in Biblical Studies from Liberty University’s Baptist Theological Seminary in Lynchburg VA. He is married to Ellen Corl Guess of 29 years and they have two children, Emily 17 and Thomas 12.
