Millfield Homecoming 2023

We hope you will join us for our Homecoming Service with a Potluck lunch and fellowship to follow. Rev. Wellford Tiller, a previous Millfield Interim Pastor, will be our guest speaker for the day. Wellford was born and grew up in Richmond and graduated from VT with a degree in Aerospace Engineering. He then went on to Southern Baptist Theological Seminary where he earned his Master of Divinity degree. After seminary, he served as the associate Baptist campus minister at the University of Georgia for five years, then served at the University of Virginia as the campus minister until 2005, and has served five congregations as an intentional minister until retirement in 2014.

He met his wife, Nell, while serving as summer missionaries in Peru. She taught Spanish in several high schools, culminating with a 23-year career at the Blue Ridge Community College. They are blessed with two adult children and three grandchildren and make their home in Christiansburg near family.
