About the event
Join us for homecoming at Millfield Baptist Church (established in 1836). Our guest speaker for this service will be Tiger Brooks from Kingsport, Tennessee. Prior to becoming an Associate Pastor he ran the family business that his father had started 40 years prior. Then through the Holy Spirit’s work, the ministry of his pastor Dr. Frank Crawford, and his church of Calvary Baptist he took on his first ministry position. This was in the position of being the Minister of Youth and Children at Calvary Baptist Church in Kingsport. He was later called to Indian Springs Baptist Church as
Student Pastor before transitioning to a Campus Pastor role and then to his current role as Associate Pastor.
Tiger received his bachelor’s in business administration from Milligan College, Master of Divinity
from Gardner-Webb University School of Divinity, and his Doctor of Ministry degree from
Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Tiger also moonlights at 88.3fm, WCQR, a Christian music station where he has been in the position of an On-Air Host for the last 21 years. He also serves as the color analyst on the “Voice of the Dobyns-Bennett Indians,” ESPN Tri-Cities, where he gets to cover his former high school football team during the football season.
Tiger has been blessed with having traveled the world on mission trips. So far he has been blessed to have traveled to Brazil, Honduras, Nicaragua, Peru, Sudan, Bangladesh, and Thailand.
He has been married to his wife, Paige, for 27 years. Paige holds the degree of Bachelor of
Music from East Tennessee State University and currently serves Indian Springs Baptist Church
as a Worship Ministry Associate. They have one daughter, Ellie Marie, who is a Freshman at the
University of Tennessee in Knoxville, TN.
