Maundy Thursday Service

Please join us for our Maundy Service, also known as Holy Thursday, at 7:00 pm. We will be having hymns, choral music, and communion will also be served. 

Easter is Sunday, April 9th, and Maundy Thursday is the Thursday prior that is part of the Christian celebration. This special day is when the Lord's Last Supper took place.  Jesus gave a commandment (Maundy is derived from the Latin word for command.) to the disciples (which is for all of us) to "Love one another as I have loved you." He then proceeded to wash the feet of the disciples. This was a task normally given to a servant, but Jesus did this unappealing job to show his love and service for them.
